Are you a medical or healthcare professional looking to expand your skills and knowledge in non-surgical facial aesthetics? Look no further than the Foundation Aesthetic Training course offered by I.C.E. Postgraduate Dental Institute and Hospital.
This course serves as a feeder/taster for our Level 7 PG Certificate in Non-Surgical Facial Aesthetics, providing a solid foundation for those looking to progress in this field. The course is designed to be a multi-stage experience, starting with theoretical education through lectures and online materials, followed by in-clinic training to build practical skills. Our programme is innovative, consistent and follows JCCP and CPSA guidelines.
Our experienced Faculty of aesthetic education providers will deliver the course twice a year, covering topics such as anti-ageing and the skin, facial anatomy, patient expectations, key landmarks and injection techniques. Hands-on sessions will focus on upper face toxin procedures such as frown lines, forehead lines and crow’s feet.
In addition to learning the pharmacology and history of botulinum toxin and dermal fillers, participants will also gain a deep understanding of facial muscles, blood vessels and nerves, as well as the steps and techniques for safe administration of toxins and fillers. The course also covers consent and medicolegal issues, as well as prescribing and ordering toxins.
We will provide e-learning reading materials, standard injection techniques and post-course support and mentoring.
The course will run on Saturday 15th April and again on Saturday 15th July 2023, at I.C.E. Postgraduate Dental Institute and Hospital, 24 Furness Quay, Salford, Manchester M50 3XZ.
This course is kindly supported by our aesthetic partner, Allergan.
