Victoria Griffiths
Dental Therapist- Clinical Hospital Manager | GDC Number: 146962
Vicki is dually qualified as a Dental Hygienist and Dental Therapist.
Vicki qualified in 2019 as a Dental Therapist but has been active in the dentistry field for over 18 years.
One of her roles involved being a Specialist Dental Nurse in a North-West Dental Hospital. This is where she developed her passion and interest for dental implants, working alongside the Professors as a dedicated Implant Nurse – more specifically now as a Dental Therapist treating peri-implant disease(s) and helping patients maintain excellent oral hygiene before and after implants are placed.
Vicki previously worked at Liverpool Dental Hospital, on the Special Care Department, caring for a wide variety of patients, including extremely dentally anxious patients.
Vicki prides herself on providing “pain-free dentistry”.
Vicki combines her role as a Dental Hygienist and Dental Therapist with being the Hospital Clinical Manager at ICE, ensuring that the clinical side of the Hospital runs smoothly on a day-to-day basis. Vicki also plays an active role in auditing Hospital policies and in ensuring that we maintain the highest standards possible for our patients.
Outside of ICE, Vicki is an active member of the British Society of Dental Hygienists and Therapists – she is currently North West Regional Group Representative and a Coach and Mentor for the Society. As well as being an ambassador for the International Team for Implantology, Vicki is a member of the Association of Dental Implantology, The British Society of Periodontology and Implant Dentistry as well as The British Association of Dental Therapists.
