I am a dedicated, caring, professional practitioner that strives to maintain the highest quality of care for patients. I have a passion for teaching and have developed my skills as an Educational Supervisor and lecturer over the past 7 years having complicated teaching certification from The University of Nottingham, University of East Anglia and in the final stages of completing a PG Cert in Clinical Education at Edge Hill University.
Having worked extensively over the past 12 years in the field of Non-Surgical Facial Aesthetics I have gained a great wealth of knowledge. I started my own facial aesthetics company in 2009 and became Clinical Director at a number of facial aesthetics practices/establishments. I have mentored a number of dental practitioners over the years and helped them develop their NSFA skills with a combination of hands-on session and tutorials.
I keep up to date with developments in the field of NSFA and attend the North West and London Aesthetic Medicine Conferences. I ensure I maintain extensive CDP training in a variety of areas to maintain my skills as a practitioner, educator and practice owner. I can carry out e.g skin peels, dermaroller, Saxenda weight loss treatments.
I am a conscientious dentist with extensive experience in anterior short-term orthodontics, composite bonding, and advanced facial aesthetics. I find teaching enriching, fulfilling, and I would appreciate the opportunity to hone my skills and join a committed team of like-minded professionals. I have enrolled (Covid allowing) on a “teach the teacher course” to further improve my teaching skills. I have a professional attitude, am competent in medical and facial emergencies, I am organised and communicate effectively and politely with all staff and patients. I thoroughly enjoy presenting and teaching and have recently delivered a presentation for Mandec on facial aesthetics in dental practice. I have established long lasting and good working relationships throughout all of my employment positions. My oral and maxillofacial role at the MRI tested my resolve and ability to function effectively and professionally under pressure which was invaluable to my progression. I have a passionate commitment to furthering my personal development and that of my team. My previous degrees have provided me with excellent verbal and written communication skills. I have completed a 10-month facial aesthetics mentorship programme with Dr Lee Walker, amongst other facial aesthetics, dermal filler and toxin courses. I am also qualified in PRGF, Nano-plasma, Electrolysis, mesotheraphy, microneedling, and TCA Skin Peeling.
