of postgraduate dental education
We aren’t just a dental hospital!
We are committed to delivering high quality postgraduate dental education, from well renowned dental professionals and have a highly trained and qualified team setting the highest standards in implant training. The novel concept behind ICE was to provide a clinical component to map to the theory of the academic programmes. The seed was sown on a journey back from an Association of Dental Implantology (ADI) meeting.
Nearly seven years later, ICE has a full prospectus of MSc postgraduate dental courses for dentists, nurses and hygienists, along side CPD short courses and numerous study clubs.
PGCert Non-Surgical Facial Aesthetics
ICE have developed this accredited PGCert in partnership with the University of Salford. This partnership will allow students to benefit from gaining hands-on supervised learning whilst in a clinical setting, in-line with current legislation’s of the JCCP and CPSA.
MSc/ PGDip Dental Implantology
The MSc Dental Implantology – in partnership with the University of Salford – is aimed to equip dental clinicians with core clinical skills and competency in both restorative and surgical aspects of implant dentistry, through a combination of clinical support and academic teaching in accordance with the GDP/ FGDP training standards in implant dentistry.
Dental Implant Nursing
ICE has two dental nurse courses which cover all aspects of implant dentistry from basic anatomy to physiology to maintenance and complications.
Our one-day introductory course is designed for all UK-registered dental nurses to provide an insight into dental implant treatment for both those new to implantology and those with some implant experience. Following, the NEBDN Certificate in Dental Implant Nursing course has a heavy emphasis on hands-on clinical application.
Reopening Post COVID-19
ICE is delighted to be able to reopen its doors to patients as of Monday, 8th June 2020. However, this will only be for 2 days a week and for emergency treatments only. Patients that are currently under treatment, which has been delayed or postponed, will be prioritised for the first three months.
