Why attend this course?

Dental Cone Beam Computed Tomography (CBCT) is now a key element as part of diagnosis and treatment planning in dental practice.

This course will provide the full HPA-CRCE-010 syllabus, as required by Department of Health Guidelines for dentists referring for and reporting on CBCT scans.

What will I learn?

The aim of this course is to equip dental practitioners with evidence based knowledge and skills to:

  • refer, prescribe and undertake CBCT scans in practice
  • provide diagnoses and treatment planning based on the interpretative reporting of dental CBCT scans

Delivered and assessed by leading experts in digital dentistry and CBCT, we provide all the required equipment to help delegates examine the use of CBCT in implant dentistry and achieve advanced skills of diagnosis and treatment planning based on interpretative reporting of CBCT scans.

  • Prescribing a CBCT scan
  • Disease, pathology and malignant changes seen on CBCT
  • The role of CBCT in dentistry
  • Interpreting and reporting on a CBCT image
  • Use of CBCT in conjunction with other software to aid clinical practice
